We are once again hosting our annual January group shows at the Washington Street Art Center in Somerville, MA. First on the list:
Draw Drawings Every Day – Opening Saturday, January 15, 7-10PM
This show is open to drawings of any subject matter, in any format. In our opinion, no project is too small or too grand. In the immortal words of Kevin Garnett, anything is possible! We’re open to anything, as long as it’s a drawing. Deadline for submissions is January 11, 2010.
How to submit:
First! Confirm your participation in the show by filling out the form here. We will be starting promo for the show on Jan 1st so please confirm by then to have your name on any promotional materials.
THEN, drop off your work!
We will be available to receive work at the gallery (321 Washington St., Somerville, MA) on Tuesday, January 11 from 4-8pm. If you are unable to stop by and see us during this time, please email info(at)snowproject.org to make other arrangements.
DO NOT LEAVE ARTWORK AT WSAC OUTSIDE OF THE ARRANGED TIME. The art center does not have business hours and the artists working there are not responsible for accepting artwork. Leaving artwork on the stoop/in the mailbox/etc is also unacceptable.
Due to the large number of participating artists, we are limiting submissions to 4 pieces per artist this year. Additionally, we request that all work is framed or ready to hang – no loose paper! We typically feature 40+ artists in this show and pinning up hundreds of pieces of paper can take days.
